About the position

Provision of MBS and other program funded focussed psychological interventions and counselling services to young people aged 12-25 years in our headspace sites enhanced primary care service as a member of the multidisciplinary and multiservice care team.

Key Responsibilities:

The Practitioner is responsible for;

  • Provision of evidenced based focused psychological services in an enhanced primary care setting, including an appropriate blend of tailored psychological interventions for young people e.g. CBT, IPT, ACT, motivational interviewing
  • The delivery of counselling services for a dedicated case list funded through the MBS Better Access or other headspace program funding streams
  • Ensuring family inclusive practice and other family support pathways
  • Compliance with professional and organisational standards of practice and legislative requirements
  • Active participation in clinical supervision, case load and review meetings; client care and safety planning
  • Contribute to the continuous quality improvement of our services
