About the position

Exciting opportunity to work at Collingwood headspace supporting young people between the ages of 12-25.  This role is an independent role as an Allied Health Practitioner delivering mental health support under the Better Health Medicare bulk bill model.

This is a Bulk Billing position with many benefits:

  • Friendly Reception team to assist in all administrative tasks such as appointment booking/rescheduling, managing correspondence/queries, billing.
  • Supportive multi-disciplinary team (clinicians & GPs) available to assist with any client concerns, needs or risks.
Access to the Practice Manager for new client allocation and non-attendance follow ups

 

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  1. Provision of evidence based focused psychological services
  2. Compliance with case noting, risk assessment and care escalation processes, and outcome measurement requirements
  3. Work within the bounds of relevant legislation and regulations (e.g. Privacy, Fair Work, OHS) and relevant professional codes
  4. Maintain CPD and credentialing requirements for MBS eligibility and professional registration
  5. Contribute to continuous quality improvement
  6. Collaborate with other support services
