Administration Support Officer

About the position

The primary objective of this position is to provide high-quality administrative support to the Residential Intake Team and the General Manager of Residential Services & Primary Health.

As a key frontline representative, the Administration Support Officer is responsible for delivering accurate information and responsive assistance to young people and their families/carers seeking access to services, resources, and support.

This role includes a broad range of administrative duties such as front-of-house reception, managing incoming telephone enquiries, scheduling assessment bookings, assisting with client attendance at appointments, and offering general administrative support to the intake team.

 

Key Selection Criteria 

  1. Administration qualification and/ or experience in a similar administration role.
  2. Demonstrated experience in providing administration support to a multi-disciplinary team including the requirement to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
  3. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, alongside the ability to quickly acquire knowledge about additional computer programs.
  4. Ability to contribute to process improvement.
  5. Ability to maintain a professional attitude in all communication with stakeholders i.e. phone, email and face-to-face.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills.
