The General Manager: People & Organisational Support is an Executive role, focussed on creating the conditions for the YSAS workforce to thrive in fulfilling our organisational purpose. Key Responsibilities
The General Manager: People & Organisational Support, in collaboration with our Executive team and other leaders, will ensure that:
- We deliver on our commitment to inclusion and equity for all involved with YSAS
- Our workforce is safe, well and supported to perform to a high standard
- Organisational systems, processes and policies are contemporary and effective
- Organisational initiatives are designed and delivered in line with YSAS Strategy
- The YSAS workforce is remunerated fairly and recognised appropriately for their contribution
- Workforce-related risks and opportunities are managed proactively and effectively
- Data and other forms of intelligence enable continuous improvement and insightful strategic planning
The General Manager: People & Organisational Support will work with CEO, the Company Secretary and the YSAS Board Directors and Committee members to ensure organisational governance is efficient and effective.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- Demonstrated track record of devising and successfully implementing an effective people and culture (HR) strategy
- Experience in leadership development
- Detailed understanding of the legal and regulatory obligations applying to YSAS in relation to people and culture
- Comprehensive understanding of industrial and employee relations
- Thorough understanding of risk management and business continuity frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in organisational change management
- People and Culture experience (HR) in the NFP, Community Services or related sectors
