Assistant Accountant and Systems Officer

About the position

The Assistant Accountant & Systems Officer is responsible for a range of finance activities, including the management, configuration and maintenance of the organisation’s core finance systems (Microsoft Business Central 365 and Workday Adaptive Planning), and other systems that feed into the finance ecosystem (eg. NAB FlexiPurchase System).

The role also interacts with systems outside of the Finance team (eg. SmartFleet fleet management, Folio contract management).

The role is also responsible for end-to-end Accounts Receivable, aged debtors, expense management (eg. credit cards and petty cash), bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and supporting end-to-end Accounts Payable.

This role plays a central part in month end and year end processes, and the annual audit.
