Shift Senior Residential Worker (Internal Applications Only)

This position

  • Remuneration SCHCADS level 5 dependent on qualifications and experience + superannuation  
  • Employee Assistance Program available
  • Up to $15,900 for living expenses + up to $2,600 towards meals and entertainment can be tax-free through NFP Salary Packaging 

About the position 

The role forms part of the leadership group of the unit, and works as a delegate of the Unit Manager to model the core values of YSAS through effective leadership and management of the youth workers and support staff.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Mentor and provide leadership in managing the dynamics between the young people and employees, escalating where appropriate
  • Provide general case management or key worker role to allocated young people when required
  • The provision of primary health information to young people including relapse prevention and harm minimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with other support services and community based activities to integrate support and provide optimal service provision.
