  • Remuneration SCHCADS level 7 dependent on qualifications and experience + superannuation

About the position

The Restoring Families/OoHC Program Manager will drive the operational delivery of business outcomes and improvement for the Restoring Families program, delivering the programs services and outcomes, through the team. The position will lead the focus on identifying and addressing opportunities for program improvement.

The incumbent will represent the program and the team with internal and external stakeholders in line with YSAS culture and behaviours and implement risk management and compliance frameworks consistent with the policies and values of YSAS.

The Program Manager will manage and provide supervision to the Restoring Families staff, the KEYS program and other targeted ‘Out of Home Care’ services. The role will also be responsible for building team capability, developing collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, and upholding practice standards

 

Key Selection Criteria  

1.Significant experience and demonstrated expertise in the delivery of case management services to disadvantaged young people (incl. assessment, case formulation, case review and intervention processes).

2.Experience in the design, development, evaluation and review of service delivery that is responsive to the lives of young people at risk, particularly those reliant on the Out of Home Care system, and young people experiencing problematic substance use.

3.Excellent knowledge of the Victorian statutory Out of Home care system.

4. Extensive knowledge of trauma responsive practice, child development and family relationship dynamics, especially for families experiencing crisis and vulnerability, and at-risk children, young people and their families. 

5. Demonstrated ability to manage program requirements inclusive of target tracking and updating of policies and protocols.

6.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including highly developed written communication that is timely and professional.
