An integral aspect of the role is to provide interventions that targets young people aged 10 – 17, who have recently been in contact with police and could be at risk of entering the Youth Justice system.
The role of the Youth Worker, is to provide evidence-informed AOD treatment and collaborative care to young people, using brief interventions, care planning, AOD counselling, harm reduction and trauma informed frameworks.

The Team Leader role is a pivotal role in YSAS Operations and provides a lead in YSAS’ headspace Frankston’s Youth & Diversity team. This role provides support and supervision to a team of 5-8 staff, across a range of service types in the Frankston, Mornington Peninsular and Casey catchments.
The purpose of the Residential Youth AOD Worker is to work as part of a multidisciplinary team assisting vulnerable young people in need of support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
